Lodging on the shore of Lake Superior

Rock Harbor Lodge provides visitors accommodations in this unique National Park. Located along the shore of Lake Superior, Rock Harbor Lodge has rooms with private baths, cottages, and services include a dining room, snack bar, gift shop, dockside store, marina, rental motor boats, kayaks and canoes, guided fishing and sightseeing tours.

Lakeside Lodge Rooms

The Lakeside rooms offer a spectacular view of Lake Superior and include a half-day use of a canoe.

Lodge guests are welcome to dine in the Rock Harbor Lodge Lighthouse Restaurant, which is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Rates are based on double occupancy. Lodge rooms accommodate a maximum of four persons.

Cottages

The 20 Cottages are located in the wooded area between Rock Harbor Marina and Tobin Harbor. The Cottages are equipped with kitchenettes including utensils and dishware, a private bath with tub, shower and dressing room, one double bed and one bunk bed, linens, towels, electric heat and a studio type living area.

A stay in one of our comfortable Cottages includes one half-day use of a canoe.

Cottage guests are welcome to dine in the Rock Harbor Lodge Lighthouse Restaurant or Greenstone Grill, purchase food in the marina store or bring their own food. Maid service is not provided.

Rates are based on double occupancy. Rollaway beds may be added to accommodate a maximum of six persons.

Windigo Cabins

The Windigo camper cabins are rustic, one room cabins that provide a unique alternative to tent camping.

Important Details:

Cabins do not have indoor plumbing. An outdoor privy is conveniently located nearby.

Each cabin includes a picnic table and grill for outdoor cooking. Cooking is not permitted inside the cabins.

Amenities can be rented at the Windigo Store (bed packs, cookware, and dishes).

Pets are not allowed in Isle Royale National Park.

Smoking is not permitted inside cabins.

Cabins do not have A/C or heat.

A deposit equal to the first night's lodging guarantees your reservation. 90% of the deposit will be refunded if the reservation is cancelled at least 5 days prior to arrival. Gratuities are not included in the rates. Check-out time is 10:30am EDT.

Rates do not include state taxes. All rates include a 9% utility pass-through fee. This is a mandated fee assessed by the National Park Service in order to provide utilities to the island for Isle Royale visitor operations. Rates are subject to approval by the National Park Service, Department of the Interior, and may change without notice.
